What is Forever Five?

Forever 5 is the motto for the Hart of Gold Foundation. It is a statement of hope in remembrance of Hartley Hearne, who was given her angel wings at the age of 5 after a 4 ½ year battle with leukemia. She was, is, and forever will be a symbol of light and hope for her family, friends, and the community at large.

Our goal is to provide practical support to children battling cancer along with their families. From seasonal goodie bags stuffed with toys, activities and therapeutic supplies to scooters for kids to ride around the hospital hallways on those seemingly never ending days and weeks. Many children battling various forms of cancer will spend weeks and months at a time in the hospital. It is our joy and our mission to provide joy for these children!

Our Story

Hartley was diagnosed with Leukemia at only 17 months old. After a 4 ½ year battle with 3 relapses, she was given her angel wings on February 24, 2022.

Where does your donation go?

We know firsthand what any small gift to a child battling can do to their spirit.

Every month we provide 50 gift bags to Midland Memorial Pediatric floor. We also give kids EZY Rollers, Hats, Balloons, and T-shirts. With your support we can continue to put a smile on more kid’s faces.
